Coaching
Coaching is ideal if you feel a desire to make a change, but don’t know where to begin.
Coaching can help you to reach your health and lifestyle goals sooner and has been shown to have a positive impact on self-confidence, wellness, health and performance. It can help you to see yourself more clearly and provide you with the support that is needed to make sustainable, healthy lifestyle and behaviour changes.
Coaching is a self-directed, personalized well-being intervention where the coach sees their client holistically and encourages them to bring their whole self to the sessions.

I offer 1:1 coaching programs designed for individuals who want to make healthy behaviour changes, including, reducing stress, living more mindfully and with self-compassion. I also offer programs designed for professionals and caregivers who want to recover from burnout and caregiver fatigue.
I believe that you have the ability to create and sustain optimal health and well-being. Step-by-step as you move towards your goal, we will celebrate your successes and collaborate to keep you accountable to why you started.
The benefits of coaching can be immediate but will continue to pay off over the years to come.

Counselling and psychotherapy are similar in a number of ways, both use psychological interventions to help clients navigate a mental or emotional challenge or illness. Some therapists offer both services depending on their, education, experience and licensure.
It is also a service that provides a supportive environment that allows clients to talk openly and helps them to identify thought and behaviour patterns that may be holding them back. Both rely on collaboration and the therapeutic relationship and working through problems and challenges.
Self-Compassion | Meditation | Mindfulness
We often have difficulty being compassionate towards ourselves, especially when we are facing adversity, stress, conflict, shortcoming or our perceived imperfections. Sometimes we internalize these struggles and listen to our inner critic. While it can be challenging to overcome these tendencies, working with them overtime and replacing them with kindness can lead to a happier and less stressful life. Research has shown that self-compassion practices can improve well-being, happiness, motivation, optimism and reduce caregiver fatigue, burnout and shame.
Meditation and mindfulness has been practiced for thousands of years in different cultures, religions and spiritual traditions. Contemplative practices like meditation help to quiet the mind, cultivate insight and develop capacities for inner well-being and peace. Today, meditation is also practiced to compliment traditional Western medicine because of the benefits that it has on our health. For some, meditation may help to control anxiety and pain, decrease stress, improve focus and sleep and decrease blood pressure (and much more). Meditation has also been shown to strengthen areas of the brain responsible for memory, learning, attention and self-awareness.
Mindfulness is often described as present moment, non-judgmental awareness. Because of the countless benefits to our health, the practice has been integrated into mainstream approaches to health and wellness. Some of the benefits of practicing mindfulness may include; improved emotional regulation and mental clarity as well as decreased reactivity and reduced anxiety.
